چکیده
Abstract The objective of this study is to explore the preparation and application sludge produced in plants drinking water treatment, remove methylene blue (MB) dye from polluted water. Adsorbate (methylene blue) prepared lab. as a stock solution. To create new adsorbents, chemical activation used has been carried out. performed by HCl H 2 O mixture . experiments were out under different boundary conditions, like initial concentration dye, dosage adsorbent, solution pH, contact time, temperature adsorption, determine optimum conditions for operation. All batch system. results show that 2:1 HCl/ was selected best chemically activated adsorbent (removal 99.9%). For MB adsorption results, following criteria must be met: 50 ppm concentration, 90 min pH 7, 0.25 g adsorbent. Adsorbents suit Langmuir Freundlich models well, according applications Isotherm models.

متن کاملKinetic Aspects of Methylene Blue Adsorption on Blast Furnace Sludge
In the global steel industry, more than 400 kg of solid byproduct is generated per ton of steel produced. Most of this by-product (70–80 %) is in the form of slag, which is used largely in the cement industry and for road and civil construction. The remaining solid by-products can be classified as dusts, sludge and oily/non-oily mill scale. Traditionally, the majority of generated dust, sludge ...
